Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Attorney to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.
Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. They will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and editing asset purchase, stock purchase, and ancillary agreements in connection with the sale of a company.
Responsibilities:- Prepare, negotiate, and edit asset purchase, stock purchase, and ancillary agreements in connection with the sale of a company
- Maintain working knowledge of market terms in small and middle market mergers and acquisitions
- Maintain working knowledge of tax, intellectual property, employment, privacy, and related matters that arise in mergers and acquisitions
- Advise companies regarding corporate governance and fiduciary duty related matters
- Attract and maintain great relationships with emerging company clients
- Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Strong background in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
