About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Attorney to join our team in the Mergers and Acquisitions sector.

Job Responsibilities
  • Preliminary and due diligence research for mergers and acquisitions transactions
  • Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements, and ancillary agreements
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of market terms in small and middle-market mergers and acquisitions
  • Providing guidance on tax, intellectual property, employment, privacy, and related matters that arise in mergers and acquisitions
  • Advising companies on corporate governance and fiduciary duty-related matters
Requirements
  • Candidate should be creative, motivated, a good communicator, detail-focused, and a team player
  • Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
