About the Role

MeeT in Yaletown is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our guests.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and ensuring that they have a positive dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment

MeeT in Yaletown is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As an Executive Chef, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
