Vineyard Laborer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vineyard Laborer to join our team at FRIND WINERY LTD. As a Vineyard Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes. Your duties will include planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops, tying and securing plants, harvesting crops, operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, and training workers in duties and policies.

Work Environment

You will work in a wet/damp, dusty, hot, and dirty environment, exposed to all weather conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
