Vineyard Worker Job Description
At FRIND WINERY LTD, we are seeking a skilled Vineyard Worker to join our team. As a Vineyard Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes. This includes planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops, as well as tying and securing plants.
Work Environment
The work environment for this role will be in a wet/damp, dusty, hot, and dirty setting, with all weather conditions. You will be required to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks.
Equipment and Machinery Experience
As a Vineyard Worker, you will have experience operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and hand tools. You will also have experience with automated irrigation systems.
Physical Capabilities
This role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work overtime as needed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid driver's license and be willing to relocate for the position. You will also need to have previous experience in this field of employment and be able to work in a team environment.
