Job DescriptionThe Kitchen Support Staff Member will be responsible for performing various tasks related to food preparation, serving, and cleaning. This role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
The ideal candidate will possess a Food Safety Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate, and Food Service worker certificate. They will also have experience with conventional ovens, deep fryers, and electronic cash registers.
Key Responsibilities- Bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and setting tables
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and surfaces
- Operating dishwashers and manual appliances to clean and prepare food
- Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items
- Serving customers at counters or buffet tables
- Stocking refrigerators and salad bars, and replenishing condiments and supplies
- Taking customers' orders and handling cash transactions
