Job Title: Residence Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residence Co-ordinator to join our team at Oakville Children's Home Ltd. As a key member of our residential services team, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Residence Co-ordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating and implementing the delivery of residential services to clients, including life skills workshops, behaviour management programs, and crisis intervention. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate and implement the delivery of residential services to clients, including life skills workshops and behaviour management programs.
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to meet their goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients as needed.
  • Supervise activities of clients living in group homes and half-way houses.
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs.
Requirements:
  • Intensive behavioural intervention Certification.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Child Abuse Registry check.
  • Child welfare check.
  • Driver's validity licence check.
  • Medical exam.
  • Adult Abuse Registry check.
