Job Title: Electrical Foreman/Woman

At Green Lantern Electrical, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and apprentices, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities, including the requisitioning of materials and equipment.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics, and establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and establish relationships with suppliers.
  • Supervise and train electricians and apprentices, and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience in the electrical trade, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.
