We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Supervisor to join our team at Shermco. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and mentoring other technicians, as well as performing electrical testing, repair, and maintenance in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor other technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Perform electrical testing, repair, and maintenance in the field, including inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • Work with customers to understand their electrical system needs and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to meet the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Analyze test data to diagnose malfunctions and determine performance characteristics of electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that technicians have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 8+ years of relevant power systems testing and maintenance experience.
  • Supervisory skills and experience desired.
  • NETA Certification or equivalent skills/experience to become NETA Certified.
  • OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70-E, CPR/First Aid/BBP/AED training.
  • Ability to work safely and adhere to all electrical safety procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean abstract.
