About the Role

This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing and managing stock, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels by counting and tracking stock on a regular basis.
  • Organize and manage stockroom spaces to optimize storage capacity and minimize losses.
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory management systems to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Work closely with warehouse staff to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure timely shipment of products.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on inventory levels, stock movement, and any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: College diploma or equivalent in a relevant field such as logistics, business administration, or supply chain management.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably in a fast-paced retail or wholesale environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
