About the RoleThis is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, organizing and managing stock, and ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory levels by counting and tracking stock on a regular basis.
- Organize and manage stockroom spaces to optimize storage capacity and minimize losses.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management systems to streamline supply chain processes.
- Work closely with warehouse staff to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure timely shipment of products.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on inventory levels, stock movement, and any issues or concerns.
- Educational Background: College diploma or equivalent in a relevant field such as logistics, business administration, or supply chain management.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably in a fast-paced retail or wholesale environment.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum.
