CIMA+, a firm owned by its employees, is actively seeking a talented Project Engineer – Systems Engineering to join our dynamic team in Vancouver.

As part of a close-knit multi-disciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in the development of unique projects that shape the world. Our ideal candidate has a firm grasp of Systems Engineering concepts and wants to be involved in the engineering of operationally critical systems in the IT / OT convergence space.

Responsibilities
  • Apply sound systems engineering principles and best practices to support overall project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of architecture design.
  • Develop and implement new project delivery processes.
  • Develop technical specifications, tender packages, and system integration plans.
  • Support systems integration planning and testing activities.
  • Provide bill of materials and specification for contractors.
  • Understand and follow client documentation and regulatory codes and standards.
  • Provide technical data and timely support to internal and external customers.
  • Monitor technical performance of the design and ensure all milestones are met.

We are looking for a professional with a University degree in Engineering or a similar subject, preferably Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Physics/Systems Engineering, and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in consulting, systems engineering, and complex integration.

The ideal candidate will also possess sound judgment, effective organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated ability to manage and work with multi-discipline technical teams.

Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering or a similar subject.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in consulting, systems engineering, and complex integration.

  • Professional Engineer License (P.Eng.) or eligibility.
Salary and Benefits

The expected salary for this position is from $90,000 to $115,000 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate's experience, training, skills, and internal equity.
