Job Description

As a Security Guard, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to clients and patrons
  • Conducting proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches
  • Attending and investigating security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
  • De-escalating crisis situations and providing support and liaison with emergency personnel
  • Exercising crowd control and evicting trespassers
  • Writing clear and detailed reports on incidents, emergencies, and day-to-day activities
  • Providing first aid and medical response when required
  • Utilizing two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activities

Requirements

To be successful as a Security Guard with Paladin Security, you will need:

  • A valid Alberta Security license or the ability to obtain one
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong observational skills
  • The ability to make immediate decisions while maintaining composure in emergency response situations
  • The ability to walk 18/20 km and climb stairs

Education Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Certification Requirements

A Vehicle is required.
