About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Laboratory Technician to support the operation and testing of pilot-scale water treatment processes at Saltworks Technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data from pilot plant operations, including wet lab analysis and data interpretation.
  • Prepare test samples for external lab analysis and coordinate with external labs to ensure timely and accurate results.
  • Manage and distribute data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Execute test procedures, interpret data, and propose next steps to optimize water treatment processes.
  • Operate pilot-scale industrial desalination plants and perform lab-scale bench tests.
  • Write comprehensive reports on test results and pilot plant operations.
  • Maintain pilot plant equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or Environmental Technology.
  • 0-3 years of post-graduation experience in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in working with tools, industrial instruments, and lab equipment.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, and prepare reports.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
