About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Apprentice to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper performance and safety of our company vehicles.



Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  2. Perform routine vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and Company standards.


  3. Assist mechanics with repairs and projects as assigned by your supervisor, using hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.


  4. Conduct tire inspections, removals, and replacements while adhering to safety procedures and protocols.


  5. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA standards and Company guidelines.


  6. Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete tasks and achieve shared goals.




Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.


  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.


  • Possess a valid driver's license.


  • Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
