Landscape Maintenance Technician

At Empire City Landscape and Maintenance, we are seeking a skilled Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the beauty and functionality of our landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and maintain turf to ensure a healthy and well-manicured appearance.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control to ensure safe passage.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to maintain a safe and accessible environment.

Work Environment:

  • Work outdoors in various locations, including landscape maintenance areas and parking lots.
  • Work in wet/damp and cold/refrigerated environments, as required.

Requirements:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but willingness to train is essential.
  • Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to handle heavy loads are necessary for this role.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required to perform the duties of this job.
