Job Summary:
This is a Casual opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Child unit at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with Antenatal, Intrapartum, and Postpartum patients and families, as well as provide care for pediatric inpatients and level 1b NICU patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Practice in a perinatal clinical setting and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of client care
• Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client-centered care
• Assist individual clients and their families in responding to changing health care needs
• Demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge and base practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities
