Perinatal Nurse Specialist

As a Perinatal Nurse Specialist with Interior Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing high-quality care to patients and families in the Maternal Child unit at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert nursing care to patients and families in the perinatal setting, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient and family.
Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care in perinatal nursing.
Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
About this location/unit:
KBRH is a regional hospital that serves the majority of the West Kootenay Region, providing maternity care for the continuum of pregnancy and postpartum, as well as pediatric inpatient services and a level 1b NICU. We offer a collaborative team approach with all members of our interdisciplinary team, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
This is a Casual opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary, and shifts may be at short notice. However, this can be a great way to gain experience and build your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
