Key Responsibilities:
As an HR Business Partner, your primary focus will be to develop and enhance Yukon University's most valuable asset: our people. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coaching and advising university leadership and staff on all people-related matters.
  • Managing employee and labor relations, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Facilitating succession planning and performance assessment processes.
  • Overseeing pay and benefits administration, career development, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree along with progressive experience in Human Resources as a generalist and business partner. Experience in a complex, unionized environment is preferred, and familiarity with the post-secondary sector is an asset.
