Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pure Kitchen Kanata. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a team of food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain efficient kitchen operations to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure quality standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
- Ensure quality control standards are met in all aspects of food preparation and service.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen demands and priorities.
Pure Kitchen Kanata is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:30 to 40 hours per week.
