Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Pure Kitchen Kanata. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and leading a team of food preparation staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain efficient kitchen operations to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels and ensure quality standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure accurate ordering and minimize waste.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation.
- Ensure quality control standards are met in all aspects of food preparation and service.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Pure Kitchen Kanata is a fast-paced restaurant environment that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
