The BC Cancer Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Advancement Services Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Advancement Services team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional donor experiences, processing gifts, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process gifts, including verifying information, preparing tax receipts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Input data into our database, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with data cleanup and maintenance projects, ensuring our database is up-to-date and accurate.
- Collaborate with Development staff to provide support and assistance as needed.
- Perform other administrative tasks, including opening and distributing mail, and coordinating the flow of information.
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, plus two years related experience, preferably in fundraising or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience with Raiser's Edge or another customer relationship management system is an asset.
- Competitive salary range: $47,000 - $52,000.
- 4 weeks' vacation, plus office closure between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Participation in the Municipal Pension Plan.
