Food Service Manager

Lacombe bar and Steakhouse is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting their full potential.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and you will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Personal Suitability:- Client Focus: You will be working with customers on a daily basis, and must be able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Flexibility: You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, and must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
The primary language of work is English.
Hours:35 hours per week.
