The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Shepherd's Care Foundation. As a Physiotherapist - Long Term Care Specialist, you will provide leadership and direction in physical therapy interventions for long term care residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the site's therapy team of Aides and Assistants
  • Implement programming to promote and maintain the level of functioning, strength, and mobility for health and wellness of the residents served
  • Ensure departmental compliance with continuing care health service standards, accommodation standards, employment and safety-related legislation, codes, and regulation, and SCF policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Current registration and practice permit with College of Physical Therapists of Alberta (CPTA) and Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA)
  • Fluent, clear, and efficient English language skills
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a PT, or new graduates welcome to apply
