Physiotherapist I

The Royal Alexandra Hospital is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist I to join our team. As a Physiotherapist I, you will provide comprehensive assessment, consultation, and treatment programs for patients within various programs. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to provide effective patient care and appropriate discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic interventions to enable clients to achieve optimum physical function and independence
Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine patient needs
Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve patient goals
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program
Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
Heart and Stroke CPR (BLS-HCP) certification
Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an adult inpatient acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with complex medical patient populations
Knowledge of community resources and equipment acquisition
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
