Job Title: Medical Oncologist - Cancer Care Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer – Vancouver Centre. As a Medical Oncologist, you will provide quality cancer care to our patients, with a focus on lung/head & neck and/or gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care to patients with lung/head & neck and/or GI malignancies
- Support the activities of the Vancouver Medical Oncology Program and the UBC Medical Oncology Training Program
- Teach postgraduate trainees and undergraduate medical students
Requirements:
- Obtained or working towards Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
