Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Lead Chef Specialist to oversee our kitchen operations. As a Lead Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Ordering supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Organizing buffets and banquets to ensure efficient service
  • Managing kitchen operations to meet customer demands and expectations
Requirements

To be successful as a Lead Chef Specialist, you must have:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of Indian cuisine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Working Conditions

The working conditions for this role include:

  • Fast-paced environment with high volume of customers
  • Physically demanding with frequent standing, walking, and lifting
  • Ability to work overtime as required
