Job Title: Insurance Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Operations Manager to join our team at Able Insurance Brokers. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional looking to leverage their expertise in insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our firm, ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements and timely reporting.
  2. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth financial analysis to support business objectives.
  3. Optimize financial performance while mitigating financial risks.
  4. Provide strategic financial insights to assist in key decision-making processes.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial objectives.
  6. Supervise the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  7. Prepare and maintain RIBO position reports.
  8. Manage accounts receivable (A/R) to ensure timely collections and proper reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in General Insurance Accounting.
  • Proven experience in managing accounting teams.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting systems, particularly BMS systems. Experience with Powerbroker BMS is highly preferred.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Our office is based in a convenient location, easily accessible by public transportation.
