We are a dynamic and innovative restaurant seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Based on industry standards and the level of experience required for this role, we estimate the salary to be in the range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our customers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, exceeding customer expectations.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare detailed food order summaries for the chef, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays, presenting beautifully prepared dishes to our customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and focus.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience supervising 3-4 people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, with a proactive and initiative-taking attitude.
  • Dependability and reliability, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Standing for extended periods, with occasional bending, kneeling, or lifting.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
