Job Title: Director of Operations, Medical AffairsJob Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations, Medical Affairs to provide strategic leadership and oversight of medical staff governance, credentialing, and contracting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health administration, medical affairs, and Indigenous health.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide operational leadership of medical staff, including governance, credentialing, and contracting
- Develop and implement human resource strategies, including recruitment, compensation models, and cultural safety standards
- Lead the planning and implementation of medical administration initiatives related to physician services in BC First Nation-led Primary Care projects
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with provincial and federal health authorities, Indigenous Services Canada, and Health Canada
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration
- Master's degree an asset
- Relevant experience working with medical staff, BC's health care system, and Indigenous individuals and communities
- Experience in medical affairs and/or medical staff governance an asset
- Municipal Pension plan with employer contribution
- 4 weeks' vacation, increasing to 5 weeks with service
