The First Nations Health Authority is a dynamic and innovative health organization that values diversity and excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Director of Operations, Medical Affairs.

Job Summary

The Director of Operations, Medical Affairs will provide strategic leadership and direction to the medical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our clients. This role will lead the development and implementation of human resource strategies, including recruitment, compensation models, and cultural safety and humility standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership to medical staff, including governance, credentialing, and contracting
  • Develop and implement human resource strategies, including recruitment, compensation models, and cultural safety and humility standards
  • Lead the planning and implementation of medical administration initiatives related to the delivery of physician services
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with provincial and federal health authorities, as well as Indigenous Services Canada and Health Canada
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration
  • Master's degree an asset
  • Relevant, recent, and significant experience working with medical staff
  • Relevant, recent, and significant experience working within BC's healthcare system
  • Experience working with Indigenous individuals, communities, and/or organizations in the area of health and wellness
