About This Role

Giant Tiger is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Associate. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and assist customers with purchases and returns
  • Support visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping environment
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit payments
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise

Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
