At BrightPath Kids Canada, we're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Centre Director. This is a key leadership position that plays a vital part in shaping the future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Centre Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our childcare centre. This includes managing staff recruitment and development, implementing policies and procedures, ensuring child safety, and maintaining environmental health and hygiene standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring staff members understand their roles and responsibilities within each classroom.

Administrative Tasks:

In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be responsible for managing administrative tasks such as payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and general communications. You will need to understand and enforce all provincial regulations within the centre.

Training and Development:

You will be responsible for implementing and ensuring the completion of training for all staff members. This will help to ensure that our team has the skills and knowledge they need to provide high-quality care and education to our children.

Communication:

You will be the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing effective communication and addressing any concerns they may have. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all staff members communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a B.Ed. with a focus on Early Childhood or Early Childhood Educator Level 3 Certification. You will also need to have demonstrated knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations, as well as financial management skills. You must meet provincial requirements for childcare employment and have up-to-date immunization and health assessment records. You will also need to hold a current CPR/First Aid Certificate.
