Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Assistant to join our team at La Perle Child Development Centre & After School Care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the early childhood educators in delivering programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.

Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in implementing program plans that foster child development
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to promote learning and exploration
  • Submit written observations on children's progress to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any challenges
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Hold a Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1) certification

  • Demonstrate dependability and reliability in your work
