About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Childcare Professional to join our team at Apple Child Care & OSC. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for creating engaging childcare programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Develop and implement childcare programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, including those with special requirements.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, teach songs, and plan educational outings that foster learning and creativity in children.
  • Child Support: Assist children in developing essential life skills, such as proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identify potential issues, and prepare detailed reports for parents or guardians.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish strong relationships with colleagues, community service providers, and parents to ensure seamless support for children.
Certifications and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires:

  • Repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
