Peter Pan Child Care Services is seeking a qualified Child Care Professional to join our team in infant and toddler development.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that requires 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be working in a day care centre or nursery school environment, interacting with children aged 3 months to 11 months.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Maintain daycare equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Lead activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and taking children on outings to local points of interest.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, singing songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
Requirements
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with children aged 0-5 years old.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations and certifications such as First Aid and CPR are essential.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience. We also provide opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
