Senior Risk Management Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Management Leader to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Financial Crimes Risk Management, Model Management. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for developing and maintaining a clear roadmap/strategy for Customer Risk Rating models owned by Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM).
Key Responsibilities- Model Development and Maintenance: Develops and maintains a clear roadmap/strategy covering the full lifecycle for Customer Risk Rating models owned by FCRM, including model design, development, maintenance, monitoring, and BAU testing.
- Model Risk Management: Ensures the Customer Risk Rating models owned by FCRM meet TD's Model Risk Management standards and represents the Customer Risk Rating models throughout Model Validation and any internal or external testing on Customer Risk Rating models.
- Team Leadership: Manages a team of FCRM professionals and data scientists to develop a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap covering the full model management lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management: Works closely with internal FCRM counterparts to develop and maintain consistent and appropriate Customer Risk Rating strategy, solutions, and processes.
- Experience: 15+ years of relevant AML and risk modeling experience and/or management experience in a Risk function.
- Education: Undergraduate degree required.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of AML regulations, risks, and appropriate controls, deep understanding of CRR models and vendor products, knowledge of red flags and typologies in the US and Canada, and ability to solve problems logically and/or creatively.
