We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Amani Travel Health Clinics. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical unit.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing education on health and wellness. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing education on health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Deliver immunization programs and inoculate patients to prevent and treat diseases.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
