Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our Engineering team at Connect Tech Inc. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to our products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing, to resolve technical issues and improve product quality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical notes, and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the field of engineering and technical support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of computer bus and interconnection standards, such as PCI Express, PCI, USB, SATA, CAN, I2C, SPI, RS-232/485.
  • Experience with C, Python, and associated compilers in a Linux OS environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with embedded systems, NVIDIA Jetson, GPUs, and low-level C programming.
  • Knowledge of low-level networking protocols, including TCP, UDP, FTP, Telnet, SNMP, SNTP.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics and experience with FPGA tools, such as Xilinx Vivado, Altera Quartus.
  • Customer support/service experience.
