Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at The Village at St. Clair in Windsor, Ontario. As an RPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to understand their individual needs and advocate for their participation in decisions about their care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Deliver safe administration of medication and treatments with a focus on accuracy, quality, and meeting our residents' quality of life requests
- Follow plans of care (or service plans) in accordance with the standards of the College of Nurses and identify and report any changes in the resident's well-being to the Charge Nurse or Village leadership team
- Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and deliver the highest quality of personal care to our residents
- Work as a key member of our Village and Neighbourhood multidisciplinary team to understand residents' individual needs and advocate for residents to actively participate in decisions about their care
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Existing Heart Save Level of CPR
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, properly plan for, and allocate the right amount of time and effort to complete tasks
- Proficient communication and computer skills to update care plans in the current system
