Master Craftsman for Residential and Commercial Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Craftsman to join our team at Assured Property Management. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our residential and commercial projects.
About the JobThis is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. You will be working on various projects simultaneously, so organizational skills and ability to multitask are essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in finish carpentry, including installing floor beams, erecting walls and roof systems, and fitting windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
A valid driver's licence is required as you will need to travel regularly to project sites.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in finish carpentry
- Excellent physical health and stamina to work at heights and in challenging environments
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly
