Government Payroll Specialist

beBee Professionals is seeking a highly experienced Government Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for government agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for government agencies in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll data and calculations
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports
  • Respond to inquiries from government agencies regarding payroll
  • Maintain payroll records
  • Reconcile payroll accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end payroll documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with payroll software
