Job Title: Construction Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team at C DeVin Construction Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction of buildings, including reading blueprints, preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling and joining wood and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measurements to ensure conformance to building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers
Requirements:
  • Carpenter Trade Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work with minimal supervision
