Description

At Waste Connections of Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in the Hamilton, ON district. As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities while providing exceptional customer service and sales skills to maintain your existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect new business leads through cold calling and other sales strategies;
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and revenue;
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to match new and existing prospects' needs to Waste Connections' services;
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage company resources and support;

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of solid B2B sales experience;
  • Experience with contract selling is an asset;
  • Excellent communication and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Salesforce or comparable CRM tools;
  • Must have own vehicle for travel to meet with existing customers and new prospects.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on performance and experience.
