About This Opportunity

We are seeking a part-time physician to join our team at Mud Creek Medical Clinic in New Minas, Nova Scotia. Our clinic is a collaborative practice that offers a unique opportunity for physicians to shape their practice and work in a team-based environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness. This will include ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, building relationships with patients and families, and working collaboratively with other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
  • Build relationships with patients and families, and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality care, and participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
  • Work in a team-based environment, and contribute to the development of the clinic's policies and procedures
  • Participate in professional development and education opportunities, and stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
  • Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
