We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Centennial Professional Centre in Kentville, Nova Scotia. As a member of our collaborative practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of healthcare professionals, including a family practice nurse, nurse practitioners, and a social worker.

The Centennial Professional Centre is a turn-key practice operated by Nova Scotia Health, offering a comprehensive range of services, including minor procedures, electronic medical records, and access to nearby hospitals and health centres.

As a Family Medicine Physician in this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
  • Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
  • Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details
Qualifications
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
  • Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
  • Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
