Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor to join our team at Barburrito at University of Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production and quality control of our food and beverage products.
Key Responsibilities:- Training and Development: Train and develop staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Production Planning: Prepare production reports and schedules to ensure efficient operations.
- Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of 1 to 2 staff members.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with SQF Certificate and CFIA regulations.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with CIP and SIP Systems, and knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Security and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with criminal record checks.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgement, organization, teamwork, and reliability.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food and beverage processing.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 25 to 40 hours per week.
