At AGAT Laboratories, we are looking for a skilled Paralegal to support our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and creating corporate business contracts and identifying risks that could negatively impact our operations.
Duties:
- Draft, review, and revise various business contracts, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, and purchase agreements.
- Conduct legal research on contract law and regulations to ensure compliance with US state, Canadian provincial, and US and Canada federal laws.
- Assist in negotiating contract terms and conditions with external parties.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to renewal, ensuring all timelines and obligations are met.
- Maintain and organize contract databases, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible, and assist in AI development.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding contract requirements, terms, and updates.
- Ensure the organization adheres to legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to contracts and proposals.
- Develop standard operating procedures and best industry practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in the Paralegal field, including contract review and creation.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills and experience with MS Office.
- Experience with Hubspot or other CRM programs is a definite asset.
- Organized and attention to details with the ability to problem solve.
