Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurturing Support Professional to join our team at Canada Inc.

About the Role

This permanent, 30 hours per week position requires a dedicated individual with a strong background in supporting vulnerable populations, particularly Indigenous communities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and be fluent in English. We encourage applications from qualified individuals who are passionate about creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in government or community programs/initiatives that support Indigenous people.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees.
  • Foster access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience is essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field.
