We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Hockey Sales Team at MLSE. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling group tickets, season tickets, and premium seats, as well as coordinating and promoting group events to support our Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies ticketing team.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Revenue Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue objectives.
- Group Sales and Season Seat Management: Develop and execute group ticket sales events and promotions for the Toronto Marlies, and identify group sales and season seat prospects through call campaigns, cold calling, emailing, and face-to-face appointments.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with minor hockey organizations, clients, and stakeholders to support our ticketing plan.
- Event Management: Coordinate and execute group events, including game-day responsibilities such as greeting clients, helping with lead prospecting initiatives, and managing pre-and post-game activations.
- CRM and Data Management: Master our CRM system, Salesforce, to track sales funnel progression and manage ticket administration and financial processes.
- Self-Starter: A self-starter with a professional demeanor and presence, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Time Management: Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales and service relationships, preferably in the sports industry.
- Education: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business or marketing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 360, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of TicketMaster and/or ARCHTICS an asset.
