Job Title: Sales Representative - Industrial Metals

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in East of Toronto. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling Industrial metals and steels to clients within the territory of East of Toronto to Kingston.

About the Role:
  • Engage with active, inactive, and potential clients within the territory.
  • Submit reports on market trends to the inside sales team to enhance sales.
  • Drive commercial sales and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the inside sales team for dormant and prospective accounts.
  • Generate and provide customer quotes, bids, and estimates.
  • Offer current product pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
About the Company:

Our client is a full Line Steel Service Centre headquartered in south-central Ontario. Founded in 1991, it has grown to include a 120,000-square-foot plant in Brampton Ontario, a plant in Montreal, Quebec and a plant in Mississauga. Locations offer a full line of products servicing customers across Canada and the United States.

Requirements:
  • At least five years of experience in transactional/industrial sales.
  • A minimum of five years of experience specifically in outside sales.
  • Post-secondary or professional experience equivalent.
What We Offer:
  • Base salary of $80,000 to $90,000, plus a quarterly commission.
  • OTE in the first year is $100,000 +.
